About the Project

Situation

Hurricane María not only shocked potential visitors with stories spreading through all major news networks around the world. It also created concerns, regarding the affected conditions of our beaches, lodging, gastronomy, and nightlife, which later became myths.

If Puerto Rico was already in recovery, how could we prove that we’re ready to welcome visitors to the island?

Insight

Puerto Rico is a world-class destination. We need a world-class influencer to convey our message of readiness unequivocally.

The Outcome

Solution

We were able to communicate the message of readiness with WeAre Ready!, a content series were we sent Luis Fonsi, on a myth-busting trip. Through strategic deployment of short videos with up to date footage in our world-class locations, we reversed the negative information cycle and debunked every myth.
